About the Author
Sigmund Freud (1856-1939) was born in Moravia; between the ages of four and eighty-two his home was Vienna; in 1938 Hitler’s invasion of Austria forced him to seek asylum in London where he died. His life was uneventful, but his ideas have shaped not only many specialist disciplines, but the whole intellectual climate of the twentieth century.

I was very disappointed when I rece only volume #24. I wrongly assumed that I would receive the whole collection.

Don't be fooled by the photo or the description, which should read,"The Standard Edition of the Complete Works of Sigmund Freud Volume 24 only" because that's all I got. This is misleading advertising. I should have read the product description more carefully, but one also has the right to expect non-deceptive advertising practices from sellers. Volume 24, by the way, isn't even Freud's writing, but the indexes and bibliographies compiled by his daughter.
