The never-ending book

It took me days to finish this book. It was painful to get through at times because of the extra story lines thrown in. There are so many names and then their backgrounds/past trials..ugh... I wondered what happened to the case I was originally reading about, the writer would veer away from it so often. The actual Sims case however, was interesting. I do agree with others, Robert (the dad) had to be involved as well and should have been held accountable. Since reading this, I did find out that he is dead now (and the son Randy) they died together in a car crash. That family was simply doomed. I do recommend this book, but I also recommend skipping over a lot of the extra info on random people.

Chances are slim to none

With an overwhelming amount of characters involved in this true story and repetition, I at times moved swiftly through these parts. The story is about the parents of 2 kidnapped babies found dead years apart. What are the chances? I always try to understand the why, but the mother and father's characters were not fully explored. Still worthy of reading. This book is sad.

Feel cheated!!

The plot was good but it rambled and was very hard to stay focused on at times. A lot seemed redundant. Needed to be shorter, less narration, tightened and not so much repetition. However, I did finish it because I thought there might be a surprise ending. It didn't. In fact, it left me hanging without answers at the end. Cannot recommend it to my reader friends.
